About South Asian Creative Community

South Asian Creative Community was created to support and unite the people who power New Zealandโ€™s South Asian creative and entertainment industry.

From dancers and singers to emcees, models, photographers, DJs, event organisers, cultural groups, and creative businesses, our community is full of talent. But many creatives still face similar challenges: inconsistent pay, limited support, unclear expectations, lack of contracts, and not enough professional recognition.

We believe the industry becomes stronger when we work together.

Our goal is to create a space where creatives can connect, learn, ask for advice, access opportunities, and be part of a collective voice that promotes fairness, respect, and professionalism.
